LADY CHOPS will be at our Rayville Branch Tuesday, June 3 at 10am to kick off our Summer Reading Program!

Elizabeth Vidos, also known as Lady Chops, is a talented percussionist whose past work includes performing in the hit Off-Broadway show “STOMP” and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. This summer Lady Chops is bringing lively Latin beats to the library along with a variety of Latin percussion instruments for kids to join in and play! She will showcase traditional instruments like the timbales, congas, and merengue guira. Kids will learn basic rhythms and movement experiencing the energy of Latin percussion firsthand! You don’t want to miss this interactive show for ALL AGES!
